One Day of Yoga
Somerton Lodge, Isle of Wight
“One Day of Yoga” is a recovery focused yoga and mindfulness day retreat.
We will combine gentle yoga postures, breath work, meditation and mindfulness practices to energise and calm your nervous system. We will discuss how the yogic perspective may be incorporated into your recovery and provide additional recovery strategies on caring for yourself with compassion and kindness.
During the day, in between the morning and evening yoga classes, you will have free time to spend in the countryside, to visit the beaches or to socialise with other like-minded individuals over lunch.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Two yoga classes:
9.30 - 11.30 (morning class)
17:30 - 19:30 (evening class)
Hatha and Kundalini yoga practice (about 60 minutes)
Breath work (about 15 minutes)
Group activity (about 20 minutes)
Group discussion (about 25 minutes)
ALL LEVELS OF YOGA AND MEDITATION ARE WELCOME, INCLUDING COMPLETE BEGINNERS
