Yoga for Runners
“Yoga for Runners” will strengthen your balance and flexibility while enhancing your performance.
Running can leave you with tight muscles in your hips, hamstrings, quads and shoulders. This two hour workshop offers you the opportunity to stretch and strengthen these core muscles while learning breathing techniques to increase your oxygen levels. You will notice your mind calming as your body becomes stronger and flexible.
We begin with a mediation, inviting you to set your intentions for this practice. Followed by breathing exercises and a hatha (gentle) yoga practice. The workshop ends with yoga nidra, a deep relaxation that focuses on your whole body.
This workshop is open to all levels, including complete beginners. The numbers are limited, so everyone will get plenty of attention.
