Releasing Emotions & Tension
“Releasing Emotions” will help you identify and release unwanted tension in your body.
Emotions such as anger, sadness, anxiety, shame, grief or fear may be stored in your body as tension. This workshop offers you the opportunity to slowly release these stored emotions using a series of passive but energising postures and breathing exercises. By increasing the flow of energy through your heart, solar, sacral and root chakras, your body can open - releasing whatever is no longer needed.
This two hour workshop will begin with a practice of yoga nidra. As you enter into a deep state of relaxation, you will identify where your emotions are stored in your body. A passive but energising kundalini practice takes place next. The workshop ends with a guided mediation about gratitude.
This workshop is open to all levels, including complete beginners. The numbers are limited, so everyone will get plenty of attention.
