A yoga and mindfulness class designed specifically for individuals who are in recovery from substance dependence or substance abuse. The “12 Steps” principles are incorporated into this class. If you have disordered eating or other addictive tendencies, this class may also be of interest to you.

Evidence based scientific research highlights the benefits of yoga and mindfulness as part of the recovery process. Following the completion of your initial recovery treatment, Yoga & Mindfulness Addiction Recovery can be an additional therapeutic support tool for you to improve your well-being. By meeting other like-minded individuals, we will continue to provide each other support, motivation and accountability through yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

A Weekend of Yoga

“A Weekend of Yoga” is a recovery focused yoga and mindfulness retreat.

Over two days, we will combine gentle yoga postures, breath work, mediation and mindfulness practices to energise and calm your nervous system. We will discuss how the yogic perspective may be incorporated into your recovery and provide additional recovery strategies on caring for yourself with compassion and kindness.

During the day, you will have free time to spend in the countryside, visit the beaches or socialise with other like-minded individuals.
