Yoga for Christmas Resilience

“Yoga for Christmas Resilience” calms your mind, relaxes your body and helps you to prepare for the upcoming holiday season.

This two hour workshop will provide you the opportunity to rest, recover and re-boot as we embark on the Christmas season of parties, school concerts, and visits with family and friends in addition to our standard work and family commitments.

Using long held supported postures, combined with breathing exercises, you will release the deep-seated tension in your body, soothe your nervous system and boost your immune system.

To get into the Christmas spirit, cacao and gingerbread yogis will be provided.

One Day of Yoga

“One Day of Yoga” is a recovery focused yoga and mindfulness retreat.

During our two yoga classes, we will combine gentle yoga postures, breath work, mediation and mindfulness practices to energise and calm your nervous system. We will discuss how the yogic perspective may be incorporated into your recovery and provide additional recovery strategies on caring for yourself with compassion and kindness.

In between the morning and evening yoga classes, you will have free time to spend in the countryside, visit the beaches or socialise with other like-minded individuals over lunch.

Evidence based scientific research highlights the benefits of yoga and mindfulness as part of the recovery process. Following the completion of your initial recovery treatment, Yoga & Mindfulness Addiction Recovery can be an additional therapeutic support tool for you to improve your well-being. By meeting other like-minded individuals, we will continue to provide each other support, motivation and accountability through yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
